[It was the week before Christmas break and all through the town, all the students were partying and acting like clowns...

Right, so, it's the last Hogsmeade trip before Winter break. Mid-terms/Finals are done with and finally we can start to let our brains rot over the holiday season. Are you shopping for those last minute gifts or just out to have a good time in the recent snow fall?

Whatever it is your doing, it might be a good idea to check out The Hogsmeade Town Map for an idea of shops, though, come on, you've probably been here enough times by now to know where things are.]

Three Broomsticks | OPEN

[Clint sat in his usual table towards the back, his butterbeer already halfway consumed and he legs kicked up on the chair across from him.

He kept an eye on the door, hoping his friends would meet him there like they said they would. In the meantime, he fiddled with a straw, bending it and attempting to make it into a mini-bow]

[There were a few supplies Steve wanted to pick up while he was in Hogsmeade, but once he was done shopping, he headed over to the Three Broomsticks, hoping he friends were there waiting.

When he walked in, he immediately spotted Clint. He grinned, giving his friend a wave, before making his way to the counter and ordering a butter beer. Once it was ready, he grabbed the glass and started over to his friend, settling in a set across from him.]

Been here long?

Nah. I just drank really fast.

[He's still fiddling with the straw when Steve comes up but does give a half wave/half salute in greeting.]

See you went shopping already. You didn't buy out Honeydukes again did you?

Spintwitches | OPEN

[Steve took every chance he had to pick up supplies, since he knew he didn't get many chances to go out and buy things. There was always owl mail, but that wasn't the same.

He had already bought the supplies he needed for school when he stopped out front of Spintwitches. Of course he was tempted to go into. He didn't necessarily need any Quidditch supplies, but that didn't mean he couldn't look, right...?

So in he went, not able to help himself.]

Ah, okay. Got worried I had taken too long or something.

[Takes a sip of his drink, before chuckling.]

Nah, no-- Last thing I need is a bunch of sweets. This is all supplies. Got my NEWTS coming up, wanted to start getting prepared.

Streets of Hogsmeade | OPEN

[Pepper happens to be bustling up and down the streets of Hogsmeade doing some last minute shopping before she goes to meet her friends at the Three Broomsticks. She already has several packages for some of them today, but the last minute gifts she has to pick up today are for her aunt, uncle and cousin back home.

Unfortunately other people seem to have the same idea as her and the streets are pretty crowded and she bumps into someone spilling her packages to the floor.]

Oh, Merlin's beard.

Well, I was gonna do my shopping AFTER this so there's your other reason.

[He stops fiddling with the straw long enough to take a drink]

Uh, Steve. Studying for NEWTS requires mounds of sweets. Why do you think I was bouncing all over the place last year during OWLS?

[He sighs] Can't believe you're planning to study over Winter holiday. Who does that?

[Quickly he kneels down to help pick up her packages, handing them back to her as he gathers them.]

[Strictly speaking Tony shouldn't have been at Hogsmeade. He'd never gotten his parents permission because that would have involved remembering they had a son and paying attention to him. But this was Tony Stark and where there was a will there was a way. He'd discovered a secret passageway which he was taking full advantage of to find his way there.

He had bags stuffed full of products, a worrying amount really. Especially considering that he was planning on upgrading some of them... He wasn't even trying to be discrete in case one of the teachers who knew he shouldn't be here found him.]

[Tony didn't even care for Quidditch, he was just looking for places to spend money just because he could. And upon seeing Steve he found the perfect reason to do so.]

Hey Rogers! See anything you like?

[Just don't ask how he managed to get to Hogsmeade when he didn't have his parent's permission.]

[Tony took the seat opposite to Clint and critically examined his own butterbeer.]

How often do you think they clean these mugs?

[Pepper practically stumbles into the Three Broomsticks, her bag over laden with the packages that she bought. Her cheeks are flushed pinker than they usually are because of the cold and but she looks satisfied that she's completed her shopping list.

She raises a hand in greeting to Clint and shuffles over to the table.]

I'm not late am I?

[Nope, Pepper you are to cancel those plans because look who sneaked out of Hogwarts.]

You should really be more careful, Pep. [As if he shouldn't take half the blame. But he waves his wand and they fly up into an orderly pile.]

No, no it's my fault. I wasn't watching where I was going.

[She looks a little frazzled but it isn't from the bump. It's more like the hustle bustle of the place is getting to her.]

Thanks for helping me. [And then she notices who she's talking to.] Oh! Donald, how are you?

[Yeah...nope, sorry. Not canceling her plans.]

[She's almost not surprised that she's run into him here. Gratefully she accepts the packages, and cradles them in her arms.]

Thank you but you're not supposed to be here. The last time I checked you didn't have a permission form.

[Nope, you're on babysitting duty now. There is no time for anyone else.]

If I wasn't allowed, then how did I get here? I'm sure someone would have noticed on the way here.

[He's not admitting to knowledge of secret passageways.]

Really? So that's what that was? [He had been pretty worried about Clint that year, but knowing it was just sweets made him feel-- well, he wasn't sure if better was a good word.]

Rather get a head start. Need all the help I can get, to be honest. [Naturally he wanted to be prepared, but he was always worried he wouldn't pass all of his classes. Potions were never his strong point, but thankfully he had Erskine to tutor him.]

[Good question. She quickly runs over the options that he has, but most of them would have ended with him getting caught if he tried convincing someone to sneak him into the village. Pepper has read Hogwarts: A History though and she knows that there were other ways in and out of the school.]

Magic? But seriously, if someone notices that you're not here without permission you're going to get in trouble.

[When he heard Tony's voice, his first thought was to respond, but then he paused, glancing down to the male. Naturally, he had to raise an eyebrow.]

What're you doing here?

[He knew for a fact that Tony didn't have permission, yet somehow...he's not really surprised to see him, either.]

[Pepper has popped into the store for a quick look at something Henry mentioned wanting for Christmas when she spots Steve. She taps him on the arm (because his shoulder is way too high for her, okay?) and gives the Head Boy a grin.]

Buying for yourself or someone else?

[She gets a raised eyebrow in reply.]

It's just a detention. And you know Jarvis said okay to it, they just won't accept his word because it has to be from mom or dad. ["And they're too busy" goes unsaid.]

Well, that was one of the reasons. [Clint muttered this behind his glass as he raised it to drink some more. OWLS had just been a...very crazy year.]

[Clint nods though. He knows Steve has some pretty big plans and they require some pretty phenomenal OWL scores] Still sounds dull.

[Clint didn't even bother asking Tony what he was doing here. Clint could care less and he had a hunch Tony knew about as many secret passages around Hogwarts as he did...possibly more seeing as the kid could get into all four house common areas]

[Clint was on his second or third butterbeer by this point, having charmed a drink out of one of the bar maids. At least, his cocky grin suggested such a thing.

He eyeballs the packages and bags Pepper is hauling]
