[It was the week before Christmas break and all through the town, all the students were partying and acting like clowns...

Right, so, it's the last Hogsmeade trip before Winter break. Mid-terms/Finals are done with and finally we can start to let our brains rot over the holiday season. Are you shopping for those last minute gifts or just out to have a good time in the recent snow fall?

Whatever it is your doing, it might be a good idea to check out The Hogsmeade Town Map for an idea of shops, though, come on, you've probably been here enough times by now to know where things are.]

[Strictly speaking Tony shouldn't have been at Hogsmeade. He'd never gotten his parents permission because that would have involved remembering they had a son and paying attention to him. But this was Tony Stark and where there was a will there was a way. He'd discovered a secret passageway which he was taking full advantage of to find his way there.

He had bags stuffed full of products, a worrying amount really. Especially considering that he was planning on upgrading some of them... He wasn't even trying to be discrete in case one of the teachers who knew he shouldn't be here found him.]

[Clint waltzed in, a bag of gummi worms in one hand (they actually wiggled thanks to a charm but other than that they were pretty much like the muggle kind) and a bag full of other Honeyduke's candy in the other. This was always his second stop and it didn't take long to find Tony.

Unlike most, Clint could care less about whether or not Tony had permission. The kid went where he wanted and trouble followed. Besides, Clint had snuck out a few times himself when he'd been under the age.]

[Tony looked up at the taller and older male, although he was the senior here dammit.]

A few. Most of it's utter crap, the spells won't last more than a couple of months. They're pretty good for spare parts though.

[smashings]

[And this is Bruce, who is at the shop because of Tony and feeling bad that he can't come here has decided to buy a few things back to Hogwarts for him.

...although he's not too sure what Tony would prefer most, which is why he is here considering now.]

[And this is Tony appearing out of nowhere beside him.]

Didn't think this was your kind of store. What'cha looking at?

[smashings]

[Engrossed in his deliberation, it really doesn't occur to Bruce that Tony really shouldn't be here and answers as if nothing is wrong at all.]

I'm thinking of something to give to you when I go back to Hogwarts, since you can't be here and all--

[--wait a minute. Bruce turns around now and proceeds to stare for a bit at the other.]

Tony?

[He looks up and grins.]

Aw, that's really sweet of you. I knew there's a reason why you're my favourite werewolf.

[smashings]

[Flinches at the word 'werewolf'.]

Tony! [Somewhat Very scandalized--well, mortified really. NOT IN PUBLIC, PLEASE.]

[He pulls out a small spelled ball from his pockets.]

My newest invention.

You can't be certain about that. [Magic has a way of just getting you when you least expect it - and Bruce would rather play safe than be very sorry.

Anyway. He peers at the ball, curiosity tingling as he studies it from Tony's palm.] What is it?

[He looks around.] No one's staring.

[He tosses the ball to Bruce.] It's a variation of the Imperturbable Charm I've been working on. Portable and selective. Right now it's only set to my voice. I can't make it repel objects yet though...

[smashings]

[He's not going to bother replying any more to that - you already know what he means, but then again its not like you ever listen...

Sigh.

Anyway, Bruce catches the ball, bouncing it a few times in his palm as he listens to Tony - frowning after his words.] So it activates to only your voice? [That sounds... neat, actually.]

[His training of Bruce is clearly working. He doesn't have a blueberry to give him right now so he'll get you a year's subscription to some potion's magazine later.]

Yep! Dad said it has potential. [Aka it could be sold to the government as part of their defense contracts.

...not that Tony cares about that beyond the pleasure of seeing his dad pleased with him for once.]

[smashings]

[You know that doesn't help at all, Tony.

...also he doesn't know too much about the Starks, so he has nothing to say about that too (although he has a funny feeling...).]

Does it activate on a password? It might work better if it does. [A pause.] How wide is the range of the charm?
