Posting something to get the ball rolling.

It is a little known fact that Tony Stark is a Ravenclaw. At eleven years of age, just like the rest of his peers, he had sat in front of the school and had placed the Sorting Hat on his head. A fact unknown to everyone was that the Sorting Hat had seen qualities in him that no one would notice until years later saw fit to put him in Gryffindor except Tony had frowned and said rather insistently that he would like to be a Ravenclaw because he was absolutely brilliant and he would prefer it if those characteristics were reflected in his house. It was a silent battle of wills that Tony eventually won although he may have regretted it later because goddamn crimson and gold were so his colours.

This is how people forget his house.

Tony sleeps in a different bed every night. Not in the way you’re thinking. His first day at Hogwarts ends with the knowledge of the passwords to all four of the common rooms, from then on it’s a steady rotation of new places every night.

The teachers eventually stop awarding him house points because why bother to give when they’ll be taken away almost immediately? On an average day, Tony had gained and lost a thousand house points. He knows the material better than anyone else and can off perfect answers every time, but on the other hand he mouths off to everyone and causes a lot of property damage.

No one knows how it happens but one day they find five hourglasses instead of four with the fifth proclaiming to be ‘Badassium’. Whenever Tony feels the need to have his ego stroked, which is on a regular basis, he’ll airily proclaim “Five points to Badassium.” And the hourglass would fill with the corresponding amount. No one suspects that it is a sign that he’s managed to hijack the spell that fills the other ones and that he’s been messing with the house point system.

He flits between groups, fitting in seamlessly with a charm that has to be seen to be believed. He can get along with literally any group he wants. He doesn’t stick with just one house and over the years people become accustomed to the sight of him wearing whatever colours he wants and with whoever he wants.
