Weighed down with a complex, twisted version of lycanthropy since the age of five, for years this halfblood has been struggling to keep his darkest secret. Somehow a Gryffindor despite his intelligence (everybody always thinks that he's a Ravenclaw), but Bruce takes that as a compliment. Generally he can be said to be one of the nicest and most pleasant people to be around with, but when the full moon rises... well, let's just say that you wouldn't like him when he's angry.

Orphaned at a young age, Clint and his brother went to stay with their only living relatives in Scotland. While his brother is a Slytherin, he himself was sorted into Hufflepuff a few years later. He went on to become one of Hufflepuff's greatest Quidditch players as a seeker. This earned him the nickname Hawkeye. But don't let his house fool you, Clint is known for being one of Hogwarts biggest troublemakers.

"Donald Blake" was a Gryffindor from the moment he put the Sorting Hat on; the Sorting Hat saw something in him beyond the small bit of arrogance he displayed upon putting the hat on. On the other hand, "Donald" - glad to have a place to call home - didn't really know if that was his real name or not. Sometime before he was found by a Muggle group of scientists, he'd been found alone and rambling oddly about "hammer" before collapsing. Upon waking, he showed almost no memory but some magical aptitude, and thus was brought to Hogwarts when he sufficiently recovered.

Officially he was a Mudblood in the registers due to the Muggles that found him, and was easily looked down upon at first sight. However, that wasn't taking his strength into account. One day he saw a little kid named Steve Rogers being picked on by Slytherins. The next thing anyone knew, there were two large holes in the wall where Donald had punched them through. He got points deducted, but his reputation was secure after that. He became something of an enforcer, intervening when he saw kids being picked on or hurt. Soon people knew better than to mess with him or anyone under his "protection". Donald himself couldn't really explain why he did it or how he was so strong - just that he felt like he had something to prove. To who, he couldn't figure out.

Meanwhile, his teachers watched him with curiosity and alarm. Aside from his strength, he showed an unusual aptitude in atmospheric charms - particularly when it came to creating rainy conditions with lightning. He showed signs from the beginning of being a victim of the forgetfulness potion - as of yet he still cannot remember anything from before being found by those Muggles, save for the word "hammer". And he had been found near a circle of strange symbols, some of which looked to be part of the wizard lexicon, but others of which were completely foreign even to the best experts of lore and language. The question was, if he was a victim of Forgetfulness, who was he really, and why had he been given the potion - and who gave it to him?

The Unplottable realms of Asgard and Yggdrasil have been cut off from Midgard for over a thousand years, for the protection and peace of all. Or perhaps the Asgardians were simply in need of a break from warmongering. (And of course, Heimdall also enjoys trying on eyeglasses in his spare time.) Whatever the case, Asgard is peaceful for the moment.

Which, of course, means that tricksters and young lions descended from Odin Allfather find themselves in dire lack of Things To Do: a perfect breeding ground for fun and disaster.

It is on a secret expedition of theirs to Midgard, out of sight of even Heimdall the all-seeing, that Thor is lost. Loki returns alone with no one the wiser and soon begins the inquiries himself -- he is now the heir until further notice (the interim heir, of course), but not a week passes in those early days where he doesn't ask after his brother. He is, after all, a very good liar. And the best lies even have some grain of truth to them.

Scarcely a year after Thor's disappearance, Loki descends to Midgard to study their magicks, backwards though they are. That is the official reason. The sentimental reason is, of course, to search for his wayward sibling. They were so very close, after all. Like two halves of a whole and similar.

After some dithering, he enrolls in Beauxbatons and skips most of the formalities of matching year and age, but the trickster is whimsical as ever: a blink later and he is suddenly at Hogwarts, dropped in a blaze of confusion into their sixth year curriculum. So far as the wizarding world knows, he is the eccentric and orphaned heir to a considerable fortune, a pureblood of considerable power and mystery, and a bit of a ~~know-it-all~~ prick. But that's all right.

(What he is is Odin's son, the secondborn, enjoying his freedom. A little.)

Visionary. Genius. Wizarding patriot. Even from an early age the son of the legendary wizard, Howard Stark, quickly stole the spotlight with his brilliant and unique mind. At age four, he created his first potion. At age six, his first spell.

Tony is a descendent of Ned Stark.

Steve was born in Brooklyn, New York. His father died while he was little, having been serving in the US army. When he was six, his mother died, leaving him in an orphanage. The other kids in the orphanage always found him strange, since he was naturally small and sickly, but weird things always happened around him.

It was when he was nine that he finally had an explanation for the weird happenings, when he met a German wizard named Erskine. Erskine explained to him that he had magic, and that there were schools for people like them, to teach them control. Steve would have gone to an American school, but Erskine grew fond of him, taking him in and moving him to England to live with him. It was there that he learned Erskine was the Potions Master at a wizarding school in Scotland. When Steve arrived at the school, he was sorted to Gryffindor, as he was certainly brave, but his small size led to him being picked on often. He always fought back, often getting into trouble, but he never would back down.

Steve always stayed the small size, never growing much, but it was in his fifth year that the accident happened. Erskine liked to experiment with new potions, and Steve accidentally drank an experiment instead of his medicine. Because of this, he got an extreme growth spurt, but it wasn't just his size that increased. He grew in strength, stamina, and more.

It wasn't until his "growth spurt" that Steve was able to win a spot on the Quidditch team, but not for the lack of trying. He made it as a Chaser, and in his 7th year, he was made Quidditch Captain, earning him the nickname "Captain America." It was this same year that he was named Head Boy, making him well known around Hogwarts.
